The final selection will be based on the performance of the candidate in all the three stages of SSC GD Constable Examination (Computer Based Examination (CBT), Physical Efficiency Test (PET) / Physical Standard Test (PST) and Detailed Examination (DME).
Therefore, anyone cannot be selected for the post of GD constable in Assam Rifles of BSF, CISF, CRPF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF or GD Rifleman, which is not physically and medically fit.

SSC GD Syllabus – FAQ
In SSC GD CBT, questions are asked from subjects like General Intelligence and Reasoning, General Knowledge and General Awareness, Elementary Mathematics and Language (English / Hindi).
The SSC GD exam is of total 100 marks. Questions are of multiple choice type.
In SSC GD CBE, one mark is awarded for each correct answer. There is no negative marking in the exam.
